Logo Design

LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes is a Latino culture & museum center that exhibits everything from latin culture, history, and traditions of Mexican and Mexican-American People. Right across from Olvera Street, the center has been opened since 2011 and continues to celebrate the values and educational programs that LA Plaza has to offer to the public.

I created this logo for the Gerard Lewis Memorial Bus Grant Program for underprivileged kids to be able to go to LA Plaza to attend field trips to learn more about Mexican Culture. I used the shades from the main color palette of their brand kit for this logo to represent the center while conveying a friendly image for both children and adults to appreciate.
